electricals
Electrical systems in buildings begin at a step-down transformer provided by the utility company and located within or very close to the building. The transformer reduces the standard line potential to two dual voltage systems, which then pass through master switches and electric meters to record the subscriber’s usage.
Each of the voltages provided serves a separate category of use; different levels are required for incandescent lights and small appliances, large appliances, ceiling-mounted non-incandescent lighting, and heavy machinery. Each voltage pair has a separate distribution system of wiring leading from the meters and master switches to circuit breaker panels, where it is further broken down into circuits similar to residential uses.
Because high-voltage wiring is considered hazardous, the switches controlling overhead lighting use lower voltages, and each heavy machine has its own fused switch. From the circuit breaker panel, low-voltage power conduit and wiring are typically distributed through partitions and ceiling sandwich spaces, but, in large open areas of commercial buildings, there may be wireways embedded in the floor slab.
These were ways can be either rectangular metal tubes inserted into the concrete slab before pouring or closed cells of formed steel deck; the wireways are tapped where desired to provide convenience outlets at floor level.

CENTRAL HEATING
In buildings, heating for comfort might be provided alongside other building services in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Building a new house gives you the chance to build the home of your dreams. However, you may not have taken the HVAC equipment for your dream home into consideration. New construction gives you a unique opportunity to install the perfect home comfort system for your lifestyle and locale.
The most efficient central heating option by a large margin is a central radiator system with cogeneration heat as the energy source. A central fan coil unit system with cogeneration heat is a close second.
If cogeneration heat is not available, or if it could only provide a small proportion of the heating needed, then individual heating by gas fixed flued heaters or heat pumps (reverse cycle air conditioning) in each dwelling are the next most efficient choices. Gas-driven air conditioners score better than all but the most efficient electric air conditioners.
A central variable refrigerant volume (VRV) system provides efficiency similar to having air conditioners of the same coefficient of performance (COP) in each dwelling. It has the advantage of centralised ‘outdoor’ units, but disadvantages of some limitation of piping length, the challenge of apportioning energy costs (though some manufacturers have control systems that can assist in this) and a potential risk of excessive refrigerant concentration if a leak develops within an apartment.
Other central systems are unlikely to be practical for small developments of less than about 50 apartments, and all have the challenge of apportioning energy costs. Radiator and fan coil unit systems with gas boilers are more efficient than water source packaged units.
A water source packaged unit system with electric or gas driven heat pumps as the energy source scores better in our company than one with a gas boiler.
FLOORING
Flooring is the general term for a permanent covering of a floor, or for the work of installing such a floor covering.
The floor whose topping is of brick. These are easy to construct and repair, but the surface resulting from these is not smooth and is rough, hence, easily absorbs and retains moisture which may cause dampness in the building.
The floor whose topping is of tiles is called tile floor. The tiles used may be of any desired quality, colour, shape or thickness.
The floors whose topping consists of stone slabs is called flagstone floor. The stone slabs used here may not be of the same size but should not be more than 75 cm in length and not less than 35 cm in width and 3.8 cm in thickness.
The floors whose topping consists of cement concrete is called cement concrete floor or conglomerate floor. These floors consist of 2.5 cm to 5cm thick concrete layer laid over 10 cm thick base concrete and 10 cm thick clean sand over ground whose compaction and consolidation is done. These floors are commonly used these days.
A floor in building construction is a levelled surface which can support the objects, occupants etc. Different flooring types are there based on different factors.
The flooring material is chosen as per requirement of the user and based on applications which provide the most satisfying results for an objective, either it may be economically or durability wise.
PLUMBING
Plumbing, the system of pipes and fixtures installed in a building for the distribution and use of potable (drinkable) water and the removal of waterborne wastes. It is usually distinguished from water and sewage systems that serve a group of buildings or a city.
In constructions, plumbers are an essential part of the site. For some large projects, the plumber may be supplied with a design that has been produced by a plumbing consultant, a person who documents a suitable design for the project’s needs. If no plan is supplied through, the plumbing is done to determine where pipes should be laid, and then to install the piping systems.
Plumbing work falls under eight different areas: water supply, gasfitting, sanitary, roofing (stormwater), drainage, mechanical services (heating, cooling & ventilation), fire protection and irrigation.
Plumbing is any system that conveys fluids for a wide range of applications. Plumbing uses pipes, valves, plumbing fixtures, tanks, and other apparatuses to convey fluids.
The plumbing system is used for water supply in the building. It supplies water to kitchen toilet outlets via a distribution system of pipes. The drainage system is used to get rid of human wastes through a well-arranged network of drainage pipes.
Plumbing system in buildings consists of the underground tank which is supplied water via municipal or water department supply lines, from there with the help of pumps and piping distribution system water is supplied to overhead tank and thereby due to gravity water reaches to home outlets.
The overhead tank can, however, be eliminated if water is supplied directly from underground tank to kitchen toilet outlets, there comes the need of pumps which can give an uninterrupted supply of water with required pressure to outlets so that when one opens the tap he gets a continuous supply of water. Such pumps are called hydro-pneumatic system.
Such pumps consist of a small steel tank with water on one side and air on another separated by a rubber membrane. As the pump starts it supplies water to the wet side thus causing rubber membrane to expand and air compresses on another side thus causing extra pressure on the wet side which is connected to a water supply line.
So as one opens the tap, gets the required quantity of water. This causes the pressure to drop and the pump is automatically switched on again thereby maintaining the pressure of water and at the same time supplying the water to outlets.
TILING
The home consists of what’s under your roof, but don’t forget what’s under your feet. Floor coverings also have a huge influence on your home and home life. They impact interior beauty, design, décor, comfort, livability and upkeep, thus floor coverings can make, or break, a home.
Laying tiles accurately and a high level of finish in a variety of materials in residential, commercial, and public projects.
Tiles are an excellent choice for many kinds of rooms.
They are an easy and popular way to renovate and remodel wall and floor surfaces in the home, not only in the bathroom: for example, the spaces between kitchen cupboards and worktops are usually tiled. A tiled wall can also be spruced up with a coat of paint.
Thanks to its easy maintenance, tiled surfaces are perfect for entries, pathways, and social and lounge areas.
Tiles can also be used to cover balconies, terraces and concrete steps in outdoor areas, for example.
The tile is glazed and unglazed, there is another category that continues to gain popularity – beautiful, elegant, porcelain tile.
Porcelain tile is made up of feldspar and is fired at a much higher temperature than regular ceramic tile. This makes porcelain tile much harder and denser than other tile products.
Their high performance and low water absorption ratings of less which make these tiles a worthy choice for your home.
Additionally, tiles can be used for interior and exterior applications as well as heavy or commercial areas.
After the finished tiles have been inspected for quality assurances, they are packaged, crated and ready to be shipped.
